Whether to resolve authoral or commercial projects, reality does not always give us the images we idealize. In these cases, combining editing and image processing tools with careful planning of the photo capture makes it possible to alter and compose the real. In this course students are expected to acquire skills in digital imaging, from the conception phase (conceptual and formal) through its implementation phase, developing strategies for photographic capture, adapted and planned in vue of digital processing and manipulation of images.

Objectives
It is intended that students develop individual skills in order to be able to design, plan and realize photography work that meets their expectations; they must understand and be able to apply working methods that will enable them to achieve this goal. In this sense they will be introduced to a range of different approaches developed by different photographers in order to become familiar with the challenges and possibilities in creating digital images, understanding what lies behind the images they aim to produce and apply this knowledge in their practice as photographers.

Learner-centred Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is proposed which involves groups of learners working together to solve a real-world problem. Students are encouraged to understand concepts through problem-solving skills. Students will have the opportunity to develop skills related to teamwork, project management, oral and written communication, self-awareness and evaluation of group processes, critical thinking and analysis, explanation of concepts, self-directed learning, application of course content to real-world examples, research and information literacy, and problem solving across disciplines.
