UC is optional and complementary to the study plan of the Bachelor's degree, since it develops subjects not covered in depth along the same. Therefore, it has a potential interest for students who want to develop skills in the area of organising sporting events, since besides being a market sector with great potential for employability, are worked in this UC matters and Activities that cross the organization of events in the fields of school, sports training and gymnasiums and health clubs.

Objectives
Objectives
The UC provides instruments of contextualization of reality and trends of sporting events in relation to the topics covered. For this purpose, the following objectives are identified: -to deepen the knowledge about the organization of sporting events, as well as to perceive their importance for their success; -Relate facts and understand trends; -Stimulate the critical capacity and debate of ideas/themes of research or intervention. This allows the development of personal competences such as: the capacity of analysis and synthesis; The ability to collect, select and analyse information; Critical spirit; Ability to exhibit, rationale and argumentation of written ideas. It also contributes to the hereare of systemic competences such as: the ability to apply knowledge in practice, and adaptability to new situations.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The methods used are: 1. Expository and interrogative methods for presenting the contents and 2. Active methodologies, using the resolution of typical problems, case analysis and completing application forms; 3. Intervention will be provided in a real context of organization of an event and 4. Thematic conferences from which the event will be structured development of individual works / reports as elements of process evaluation continuous evaluation.
