1. The history of Swimming 2. Introduction to Pedagogy/Didactics of Swimming 2.1. Teaching through exercise progressions and for setting goals 2.2. Adaptation to the aquatic environment, learning and improving swimming techniques 3. Behavior of the body in the water 3.1. Physical properties of the water and your applicability to swim. 3.2. Hydrostatics and hydrodynamics. 3.3 Types of resistance to displacement in the water. 3.4 Propulsive forces in swimming techniques 4. Analysis of swimming techniques. 5. Performance of swimming techniques. 6. Presentation and characterization of Water Polo and Artistic Swimming.

Objectives
1.Comprehension, mastery and identification of the main contents of the teaching of Swimming; 2.Integration of the contents for the development of a professional practice in the teaching of Swimming in a school context; 3.Analysis and interpretation of the pedagogical plans of swimming teaching programs; 4.Mastery of swimming techniques in order to exemplify and relate motor ability with teaching.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching approach adopts active learning strategies, encouraging students to participate in practical activities, discussions and problem-solving exercises. Using flipped classroom techniques, theoretical information is made available upfront, allowing class time to be devoted to collaborative group work, analysis of real-life scenarios and the use of engaging multimedia resources. Whitin student assessment and also enhance students' critical thinking and decision-making skills, fostering a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
