Presentation
This subject, in the context of Swimming, aims to provide students with essential skills in the process of prescribing and evaluating the training process of the young, through the application of loads appropriate to the stage of swimming development. The load application process presupposes a broad set of general but above all specific knowledge and skills, the results of which translate into complex short, medium- and long-term adaptive processes. Thus, the mastery of the subjects corresponding to the Sports Capacities - Strength, Endurance, Speed, Flexibility and Coordination, the technical and technical-tactical components, the observation, and evaluation process, embodied in the long-, medium- and short-term periodization processes, will be absolutely decisive in the success of this UC.
