    The internship of the 3rd year of the Bachelor's degree in physical education and Sport from ULHT is a Curriculum Unit focused on technical intervention of student trainee, in the context of actual practice on the activity of a number of subjects (athletes, participants), an option of area of expertise. This intervention, which runs within a host Entity (Club, Association, other), under the supervision of experts from the FEFD ULHT, organizes and develops according to a model of "project based on the evaluation," according to the characteristics professional practice in our area and in accordance with the principles and purposes of the course, in the framework of the cooperation protocol between the host organizations (EA) and FEFD .

    Syllabus

    1. The correct choice of operational objectives and exercises and learning situations, as well as their organization in microcycles, units, training and tests. 2. The evaluation of the Activity, through the interpretation of the performance and attitudes of the athletes and the self-analysis of the intervention of the trainee himself. 3. The management of practice situations, including the control of critical variables to ensure the quality of such situations. 4. Communication with athletes, in their main forms the lecture, feedback to performance, questioning, attention and interpretation of the subjects' communication. 5. The attitude of leadership in the face of critical incidents and moments (evidence, transitions, etc.), clarification and promotion of the proper discipline of the Activity, as well as the adoption of appropriate styles and affective tones in the individual and group relationship.

    Objectives

    1. Autonomy and responsibility, ethical and technically correct participation in the structures and activities of the host Entity (EA) and ULHT. 2. Formative Evaluation, to interpret the relevant context variables, participants, exercises, and results of the actions of trainees, to propose viable solutions, according to explicit criteria. 3. Individual Internship Plan (PIE), stimulating the projection and planning of the activity from the characterization of the EA and the subject, for the best selection and realization of a process regulated by the formative evaluation. 4. Science, applying judiciously and grounded knowledge and scientific materials, studied in degree, to argue technical intervention options and organizational practices. 5. Cooperation, participating in hard in the common tasks of interns, collaborating with colleagues and with every one of those responsible for the internship process and other stakeholders.

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    The UC is organized in 5 stages: 1 st Placement of Trainees, presentation in EA and opening of the Internship Dossier: The trainee presents an Assessment of Possibilities and the structure of the PIE, opening its Dossier. 2nd Evaluation of the PIE: By the end of November, it presents a proposal for a PIE. It is time to take stock of the Internship process. 3rd Intermediate Evaluation: the trainee demonstrates the ability to implement the decisions taken, justifying an Intercalary Classification. 4th Dossier Delivery and Internship Report: The results are assessed through evidence of the subjects' performance, attitudes and abilities. Prepares the Internship Report, presenting an overall assessment of its intervention. 5ª Conclusion and Final Classification: The Stage Coordinator in articulation with the Tutor presents an indication of the classification (0 to 20 values). At the final meeting, the Trainee Regent informs the decision on the classifications, published in the agenda.
