The UC of Regional and Autarchic Administration, included in the list of UCs of the 1st Cycle of Political Science and International Relations, becomes relevant, as it can contribute to provide knowledge that enables students to act within the regional and autarchic administrations. and interact with them. The knowledge to be acquired are: Situate the Regional and Municipal Administration within the framework of the State administration and know its diachronic evolution. Analyze the functioning of the regional and municipal administrations, as well as the forms of election of the holders; Compare different models across EU countries; Study the latest approaches to the management of cities and regions for local and regional development.

Objectives
Objectives
The objectives of this UC appear in the presentation of this UC. This UC beyond the knowledge that students want to acquire about the regional power and the municipal power: based on the Constitution, how it works; the relevance of the functioning of these two "powers" to the functioning of the country as a whole. It is also intended that students acquire skills to understand interactions within the different territorial levels of state institutions; Possess and be able to critically evaluate the alternative models on which they may be based; identify their social roles and responsibilities. Competences to act within the regional and municipal administrations, as a policy maker or as a framework of these institutions. Being able to analyze from the constitutional point of view the different moments of the Regional and Autarchic Administration.
