Presentation
Presentation
Cultural diversity and contact between people from various cultures are fundamental traits of our time. Talking about diversity brings us to what is different. It concerns the variety of ideas, ways of being and feeling, peculiar characteristics and characteristics of a particular person, group and community. The recognition of diversity and its specificities is essential, in the sense that it allows for contact, an interaction that leads to understanding and, consequently, to dialogue and more effective work. And this contact is essential, because it allows demystifying existing prejudices, causes of the ignorance we have about what is different. What we don't know becomes strange and becoming strange tends to generate distancing.
