  • Objectives

    Objectives

    The main objective of UC is the creation of competences in the field of social intervention in the health area. It is intended that the student deepen his knowledge about the work process of the Social Worker in the Health area. The student must know and know how to approach the different problems in the sick person always contextualizing each case psychologically and socially and aiming at the rehabilitation and integration of the person. The student should be able to approach the sick person at the end of life and their family / caregivers.
  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    It adopts a teaching methodology centered on the student and for the reflection and the acquisition of arguments about the theories and practice of Social Service in the area of ¿¿Health. The evaluation focuses on the performance of certain assignments by the students and 1 individual written exercise in the classroom, oral presentations and discussions and participation in the dynamics of learning in the classroom.
