The UC of Theory of Architecture 1.2 aims to introduce students to the fundamental themes of Architecture, with a special focus on the Single-Family Housing Program, closely linked to the theme of Project 1.2 exercises. The theoretical sessions will contribute to their greater architectural culture and the construction of a theoretical framework for space, form, and the significance of dwelling, in its cultural and phenomenological dimensions.

Objectives
Objectives
Exploration of the multiple dimensions of dwelling. Enhancement of creative capacity and spatial vocabulary. Enrichment of architectural culture: models, notable works, and reference authors. Development of an interest in Architectural Photography: motivation for visiting and recognizing architectural works and a tool for constructing a spatial narrative in architecture. Development of critical thinking through the study of architectural works.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The lecture sessions are structured in accordance with the ongoing practical work. The practical component supplements, through discussion sessions and presentations of work, the topics introduced in the theoretical sessions. Additionally, study visits to architectural works are regularly organized.
