the medicine of exotic, wild and zoo animals continues to grow, so this curricular unit aims to provide students with the basic tools to develop their work in private clinics, zoos, recovery centers and in the conservation of species. As an integral part of the "One Health" concept, medicine for exotic, wild and zoo species is increasingly being presented as an extremely important aspect in the creation and maintenance of the health and well-being of people, animals and the environment.As an integral part of this area of ¿¿activity, knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as correct management and nutrition are basic but essential elements.

1-Know the biology and ecology of the most common species of birds, reptiles and small mammals as pets and their importance in preparing housing and diets 2-Understand the main elements to be taken into consideration when building housing for birds, reptiles and small exotic mammals, always considering animal welfare and environmental enrichment 3-Develop the most recommended diets for the correct nutrition of birds, reptiles and small mammals and understand their importance for the health of these animals
