The FMV-ULHT's Integrated Master in Veterinary Medicine (IMVM) approved in Portaria No. 1107/2004 of September 7th 2004 and adapted to Bologna according to the Dispatch nº 19 107-A / 2007 of August 23 rd 2007 whose curricular structure and study plan were disclosed by Dispatch nº 15989/2009 (2nd Series) published in the Diário da República of June 13th 2009 and amended by Dispatch nº 8686/2020 of September 9th , provides for the realization of a curricular internship that culminates with the preparation of the final dissertation. The internship aims to provide theoretical and practical learning, by applying the knowledge and competences acquired throughout the course, in the reality of the labour market.

Objectives
Objectives
1. Application and deepen the knowledge acquired by the student during the course teaching component necessary for the exercise of the Veterinary Medical activity, in its various areas of insertion in the labour market 2. To develop and consolidate competences and technical skills in the execution of tasks of the Veterinarian in a professional context 3. To demonstrate ability to participate in tasks, planning, research and solving specific problems 4. To develop teamwork skills 5. To demonstrate a responsible behaviour in a professional environment, in accordance with ethical and deontological rules. 6. To demonstrate the ability to develop scientific research work capable of answering the initial questions 7. To demonstrate the ability to carry out bibliographic research, critical analysis, interpretation and discussion of results and to communicate scientific knowledge, in written and oral form.
