1. Introduction - Strategies for the management of road infrastructure maintenance. 2. Earthworks - Main pathologies and techniques used to repair them 3. Drainage - Main operating problems and principles to be used in the maintenance of the drainage system 4. Paving - Degradation classification systems. Techniques used in inspection and auscultation of pavements. Models for predicting the evolution of degradations. Constructive materials and techniques usable in maintenance and rehabilitation

Objectives
It is intended that students acquire knowledge necessary to manage the maintenance of road infrastructures, particularly in the fields of earthworks, drainage and paving.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Active teaching methodology places the student at the centre of the learning process. Students are encouraged to solve autonomously exercises for evaluation, having the opportunity to discuss with their peers the methodology to solve the problems. This process will allow students to develop critical thinking, increasing their problem-solving capacity.
