The Clinical Neuropsychology Internship curricular unit takes place in a clinical context and aims to bring students closer to the professional context of Clinical Neuropsychology through a teaching-learning model based on practical experience. Students are expected to be involved in activities directly related to the professional practice of Clinical Neuropsychology, namely assessment, stimulation and neuropsychological rehabilitation in different contexts, populations and clinical specificities. This curricular unit regroups all the competences acquired during the 1st year of the Master's in Clinical Neuropsychology, seeking to promote the development of clinical competences in Neuropsychology, with progressive autonomy, and to establish the bridge between academia and the start of professional practice as a Clinical Neuropsychologist.

S1. Presentation of the internship regulation S2. Definition of the intern's functions, ethics and deontology S3. Integration in host institution of the internship S4. Characterization of internship stages: Observation, active observation and supervised practice S5. Preparation of the internship plan S6. Preparation of activity plans and case formulations S7. Presentation of activities and clinical cases and articulation with theoretical knowledge and the state of the art S8. Reflection on the application, limitations and potentialities of evaluation and intervention, in conjunction with the contents covered previously.

LO1 Demonstrate skills pertaining to the observation of context specificities, evaluation of needs, and thinking about practical skills for clinical neuropsychology LO2 Demonstrate communication skills and ability to establish the relationships inherent to intervention and multidisciplinary teamwork LO3 Articulate theoretical knowledge and practical skills LO4 Recognize the relevance of research and scientific literature for the improvement of practice LO5 Demonstrate skills to understand assessment goals and the integration of information for intervention planning LO6 Apply evidence-based assessment methods and instruments as well as intervention strategies, adjusted to the identified problems LO7 Promote ethical reflection and critical analysis of clinical practice and intervention effectiveness LO8 Demonstrate critical reflection skills on personal and professional development.

A classificação é multinível e multi-informantes resulta das seguintes componentes: 1) prática, atribuída pelo supervisor de estágio, considerando a avaliação fundamentada, qualitativa e quantitativa, do orientador no local de estágio (de acordo com grelha fornecida pela ULP) (50%); 2) atividades de supervisão atribuídas pelo supervisor, com base nas propostas e na análise crítica das atividades de esta?gio, na reflexão crítica (30%); e 3) portefólio de estágio (escrita e apresentação/discussão) (20%).
