The curricular unit of Protocol and Diplomacy works in the field of international relations. Develops tools to understand the relationship between the various diplomatic agents (institutional and business) in the world. The main objectives of this curricular unit satisfy the knowledge of areas that are imperative for specialists in international relations: diplomatic relations and national/international protocol procedures.

Objectives
The general objective of the curricular unit is to give students diplomatic knowledge in order to be able to choose, without hesitation, the best way to act in an institutional environment, complying with the rules of protocol and knowing, in an effective way, to activate the procedures inherent to the fulfillment of any type of protocol.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Each part of the program has its own objectives with respective methods, pedagogical techniques and assessment instruments. The evaluation is continuous with the use of an observation form and list of occurrences. An assessment with practical exercises is foreseen in the last module and a written evaluation test during the semester. Attendance, participation, work and presentations- 40% Written test- 60%
