Objectives
Objectives
This curricular unit aims at providing students with a multidisciplinary approach to the core topics of the MSc course, like management, operations, marketing, innovation, sustainability, decision-support, and information systems, becoming in contact with experiences and professional practices in Industrial Engineering,Management and sustainability. Moreover, the goal is to promote students with the development of the literacy of communication in the topics, inter and intrapersonal capabilities to structure written/oral expression in Portuguese and English, and debate and share ideas over current industrial contexts. This curricular units also aims to articulate the link with the scientific activities of RCM2+

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching methodology is mainly based on the presentation of the topics with the active participation of the students and several seminars with invited guests. The assessment of students is based on seminar (40%) with a mandatory oral presentation, activities (50%) ans effective participation at classes(10%). In this seminar, students must develop a topic in the context of Industrial Engineering and Management previously defined, with current relevance, and prepare a seminar to promote the debate in class. Students are approved with a grade equal to or greater than 9.5/20. The student can not be approved with no presentation of seminar.
