Syllabus
The work is defined with the supervisor and according to the course regulations. The work can be done at FE-ULHT or outside (universities, research centers or companies, in Portugal or abroad), namely: Project in company, original work, possessing a scientific and practical nature. For the above-mentioned point, the existing protocols within the scope of this course are essential, particularly those of the Engineering Business Council, which will allow students access to real and current industry challenges.

Objectives
Academic work with a duration of one semester, in the area of Industrial Engineering and Management. The learning outcomes will depend on the specific assignment, but students will be expected to: integrate and apply the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the course (as well as in other necessary areas) in the development of a scientific, technological and/or management work. research, compile and synthesize relevant information, plan and execute experiments, analyze and interpret data, develop mathematical models, perform computer simulations, contextualize their implementation and critically analyze the results. develop relationship skills, such as the ability to integrate into an organization or work team. write, present and discuss the work done.
