Objectives
Objectives
The aim is to provide students with knowledge of the various "types" of employer and their impact on employment, particularly in the context of groups of companies. Likewise, by addressing some vicissitudes of business activity and their effects on employment contracts, in particular the insolvency and recovery of pre-insolvent companies, the suspension or reduction of activity, the transfer of the employee, and the transfer of the company or establishment, students will be provided with specific knowledge that will enable them to assess, interpret and apply this knowledge in practice. Finally, the objective and subjective causes of termination of the employment contract will be analyzed, allowing for a theoretical and practical perspective to provide detailed knowledge of the specificities inherent in each of the modalities of termination of the employment contract.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
The curricular unit will be teaching with a balance between theorical-practical exposition of topics by professor (presentation and discussion of the subjects and questions of the syllabus and their knowledge application) in the and dialogue with and between students. Students with a special status provided for by law or regulation who are not required to attend classes, but who wish to be covered by the continuous assessment system, must inform the teacher of the course unit as soon as they become aware of this fact, but always 90 days before the end of classes, so that the teacher can define another form of work or monitoring, which may include written work, the presentation of reports and/or an oral test.
