Class Collective Labor Law

The main issues surrounding the law of collective labor relations will be revisited, but from a more problematic perspective and in greater depth, allowing students to develop a critical view of each of these issues.

Trade union freedom. 3.  The collective autonomy: its constitutional basis. The legal regime of collective negotiation and the instruments not negotiations of collective labour regulation. Social consultation: its legal relevance. 5.  Collective labour disputes and conflict prevention and resolution processes provided for by law. In particular: voluntary and non-voluntary arbitration 6.  The legal regime of strike and lock-out.

The curricular unit will be teaching with a balance between theorical-practical exposition of topics by professor (presentation and discussion of the subjects and questions of the syllabus and their knowledge application) in the and dialogue with and between students. During classes students are encouraged to ask questions, give their opinion in relevant subjects, and participate in case-solving classes. Presenting assignments is also a very important learning tool. Students may choose to write an essay on a particular subject. A list of suggestions will be available, but students may choose a different subject. The professor will be available to discuss the subject choice.
