The Master's in Market Law is an innovative program within the European space, encompassing areas of law that directly and indirectly impact the market. It includes both traditional areas of law that have adapted to market changes and new areas that are increasingly important and require a deeper legal understanding. One notable aspect is its innovative multi and interdisciplinary approach, as it combines mandatory courses in private law, public law, and economics. Each semester, students enroll in four mandatory courses and choose one elective course from a selection of five options.

Admission Conditions
According to the applicable regulations, access to the Master's degree program in Law is done by submitting an application within the deadline set by the Director of the Faculty of Law. Candidates eligible for the Master's degree program in Law are: a) Holders of a Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent, from a Portuguese or foreign university, provided they have a minimum grade of 12 values or equivalent. Criteria for selection: Previous qualification: 70% Curriculum assessment: 20% Interview: 10% b) Holders of a foreign higher academic degree conferred following a first cycle of studies organized in accordance with the principles of the Bologna Process by a state adhering to this process. Criteria for selection: Previous qualification: 20% Curriculum assessment: 50% Interview: 30% c) Holders of a Portuguese or foreign higher academic degree recognized by the Scientific Council as satisfying the objectives of a Bachelor's degree in Law. Criteria for selection: Previous qualification: 20% Curriculum assessment: 50% Interview: 30% d) Individuals with an educational, scientific, or professional background recognized by the Scientific Council as demonstrating the capacity to undertake this course of study in Law. Criteria for selection: Curriculum assessment: 70% Interview: 30%

Access to in-depth and specialized scientific knowledge in areas of law related to markets. Acquisition of a diversified and solid theoretical-practical training in areas absent from traditional curriculum plans. Development of skills in scientific research. Development of analytical skills and application of theoretical knowledge to practice. Acquisition of skills to adequately respond to current and future challenges in market-related areas.
