This course aims to introduce students to the methodology of scientific work and provide them with the conceptual tools to enable them to choose the appropriate methodological strategies for preparing a master's dissertation. The aim is also to make students aware of the ethical principles underlying scientific research.

Objectives
Objectives
This course aims to enable students to 1) understand the nature, relevance, and methodological traditions of research in the Science of Religions and related scientific areas; 2) grasp, deepen, and put into practice the fundamental stages of the research process; 3) analyze and put into practice concrete cases and recognize in them the various stages of the research process; 4) enable master's students to autonomously carry out specific tasks in the scientific research process.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Theoretical-practical classes with presentations and class discussions on the different stages of the scientific process, treatment of databases - such as those related to ongoing projects in the Area of Science of Religions - and presentation of a first draft of a master's dissertation project.
