The Master of Social Service and Social Policy is aimed at technicians who develop an interventions in state and private institutions. These institutions can respond to the various periods of the life cycle (children, youth, young adults, adults, older adults) and to a diverse population (people with disabilities, people with psychopathology, victims and offenders, addicts, etc.). Technicians need to possess knowledge and skills in the management and evaluation of social projects in order to pursue their mission and meet their objectives.

1. Scientific knowledge of reality.The process of scientific knowledge, research and analysis of reality 2. The concepts of planning, strategy, social and human development and development sustainable. 2.1. Third Sector Organisations 2.2. Planning: definitions, dimensions, principles, advantages and disadvantages 2.3. Social projects: definitions and characteristics 3. Management and evaluation of social projects. 3.1. Social project design (Objectives; Goals; Actions; Activities; Timeline; Resources; Budget; Funding Sources) 3.2. Project implementation 3.3. Management tools 3.4. Project monitoring and evaluation 3.5. Participatory management and communication 4. Rationality, technical political dimension, construction and reconstruction of the object. 5. Problematize the issues: science and knowledge of reality; know and identify the fundamental concepts present in the UC; problematize its interconnection with the current reality; learn the origins and causes of project methodology of intervention in the social context; know how to operationalize the various phases of the project; know, create and apply the instruments of project management and evaluation.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies: Interactive classes with participation, through the active method, expository and interrogative. Sharing of experiences: valorization of the theoretical and practical experience of master students in debates and presentation of papers. Evaluation: Group preparation of a critical analysis of the management and evaluation of a research/intervention project (oral presentation and written report). Grading: 0–20 scale.
