Class Maintenance Management

Awareness of the importance of maintenance management in modern companies and its impact on goods or equipment, within the scope of fundamental standards and concepts, for the development of a maintenance management process throughout the life cycle of equipment's
Allowing knowledge of the evolution of the concept of maintenance, in its new aspects of management and respective implementation challenges aimed at Efficiency and/or Effectiveness of maintenance.

Classes are theoretical-practical. In the theoretical parts, the concepts, principles, and theories essential to maintenance management are presented.
In the practical parts, the debate is promoted on case studies that illustrate the matter covered in the theoretical classes, as well as the individual works that will be later presented and discussed.
Also, in the practical parts, students are placed before situation studies for the identification and development of skills associated with maintenance management.
The evaluation of students is carried out in accordance with the university's evaluation regulations and, with the following evaluation moment: Group Work (TG), up to 3 students, 90% presented in class (60% for the presentation and 40% for the discussion) and attendance 10%.
