This Curricular Unit (UC) operates within two fundamental concepts: society and political culture. It places them in a specific regional area - Europe and more specifically the European Union - and dialogues with the whole course insofar as it deepens these two essential concepts of the social sciences and, particularly, of political science, analyzing how they can be read in the light of the creation of a concrete society and political culture - the European one. Objectives
Objectives
This UC has the fundamental objective of showing how the concepts of society and political culture have evolved and how they are intertwined in a specific regional context, namely: European society and culture. In other words, this CU seeks to analyze and interpret how the European integration project has been shaped by political and social processes in the formation of its specific political culture.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The teaching-learning process is based on mixed approaches between expository sessions, guided and commented readings on reference texts and moments of debate according to the syllabus, with the aim of promoting a comprehensive analysis of society and political culture in the European context.
