    This Sustainable Health Management course addresses current and future trends in sustainable health development (indicators for better health management, design of spaces, processes, well-being) and evidence-based health (best practices, clinical trials, approach to patients, community interventions) in the context of social evolution, pandemics, climate change and its effects on health. The Sustainable Health Management course aims to develop the human, technical and scientific skills of its participants, and is based on the recognition and credibility of the training suitability of the teaching staff and the subjects they teach.

    Knowledge, abilities and skills to be acquired

    - Skills to understand and manage the processes of health organizations with a tendency to integrate care in a global environment where there are effects of climate change, the cross-border spread of diseases and migration; - Skills in sustainable development indicators (SDG 2030) and their appropriate application in the health, education and social fields; - Knowledge of national and international standards and their effects; development of ethical and deontological aspects associated with health;

    • The main aim of this course is to point out future trends and ways of dealing with the current changes in health and globalization.
    • The approach is always centered on the person (user-patient), giving strength and skills to managers, professionals and representatives of patient associations, who must have more skills to intervene in health and change the behavior of individuals, groups and communities.
    • The planning and management of resources in the context of the new challenges of the millennium require us to think about interactions such as climate, disease and the globalization of health.

    Partnerships Portuguese Society for Health Literacy (SPLS) https://www.splsportugal.pt/ Course accredited by the Order of Nurses/Training accredited by the Order of Nurses for the purposes of Professional Qualification - this training can qualify candidates with a Degree in Nursing with the award of 3.5 Credits (CDP).
