The Civil Engineering Week 2025 took place between 22nd and 24th April 2025, an initiative organised by the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technologies (FCNET) of Lusófona University – Porto University Centre. An exclusively in-person event aimed at students of the Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, which featured a diverse programme that combined theory with professional practice.
Throughout the three days, participants had the opportunity to take part in technical visits to ongoing construction projects, offering them direct experience with the real-world environment of civil engineering and interaction with industry professionals. Laboratory activities also played a key role, allowing the practical application of knowledge acquired in the academic context.
Additionally, the programme included several themed lectures focusing on technological innovation, structural monitoring methodologies, and the rehabilitation of infrastructures and buildings. These sessions were led by faculty members and invited experts, fostering debate and technical in-depth discussions among the participants.
