Lusófona University Invests in a ‘Pet Friendly’ Environment
The initiative will allow the presence of animals, creating a cosy environment for four-legged companions
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

Lusófona University is preparing to embrace an innovative initiative: becoming a "Pet Friendly" space and allowing the presence of pets on campus. This idea gains momentum as the university already has a Veterinary Hospital, specialising in the care and well-being of our four-legged friends.
The initial project allows for up to four pets to remain on campus, respecting safety and comfort standards for all students, staff, and animals. They must always be on a short lead or properly secured, without moving freely around the premises, fully complying with current legislation.
This initiative reinforces Lusófona University's commitment to animal integration and welfare, creating an even more welcoming environment for the academic community and their loyal companions.
