Did you know that Planet Earth Day is celebrated every year on 22 April?
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Earth Day
It began in 1970, when millions of people took to the streets to protest against pollution and demand change.
Since then, it has inspired environmental laws, beach clean-ups, tree planting, and more.
But what’s most fascinating is that Earth is over 4.5 billion years old — and we, humans, appeared only in the final seconds of the planet’s “history”.
Even so, in just a few decades we’ve managed to alter oceans, forests, and the climate.
With every bottle recycled, with every bag avoided, we take a small step in the right direction.
The planet doesn’t need perfection. It needs awareness. And people who remember that there’s no plan B — because there’s no planet B.
