Objectives
Objectives
Determination of the mechanical properties of the soil through field tests. Study of the behavior of most common geotechnical works, such as retaining walls and shallow foundations, and verification of the safety of geotechnical works using Eurocode 7 and the method of global safety factors.
-
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Develop practical projects that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in real situations of geotechnical works Encourage students to participate in professional social networks for geotechnical engineers, where they can share information, network and learn from experienced professionals, and also include the innovative methodologies used to support the teaching-learning process.
