At the end of the course the student should be able to understand a computational system, as well as identify and select appropriate information systems that best fit the tasks in a professional environment. The student is prepared to perceive and make use of data structures, as well relate databases from various information systems. The student sgould be able to assess and evaluate the bet use for software with different licensing schema. The student shall be able to plan and follow the management of a project coping with tasks, timelines and resources.

Information Systems Data management, Information and Knowledge; Software Licensing; Information protection; Spreadsheets Funtions Formulas Auditing; Graphs Simulation tools and optimization: Simulation tables, Optimization Database tools Tables and fields integrity rules Queries ans relational rules Automation and integration with external data sources Project management tools Characterization of phases and tasks of a project; Gantt charts; Construction of a project: phases, tasks, duration, dependencies, resources, milestones and deadlines; Monitoring the implementation of a project.

Objectives
Objectives
Present technologies applied to Information System, Production and Business processes in the view angle of the manager. Present the fundamental concepts around information systems and management, analyzing and using information modelling techniques. Present different ways of organizing information data, employing the use of spreadsheets and databases to generate graphs and simulation scenarios. Plan and manage project sheets in order to support the design, management and development of projects and workflows.
