    This course aims to present, debate and deepen the main dilemmas surrounding today's information society, particularly the problems that information and digital spaces raise. The digital society confronts us with doubts and incapacities. How can we understand the news, information in general, the power of algorithms and the best methods for navigating these challenging digital seas? During this course, through concrete examples and joint reflections, the aim is to contribute to strengthening knowledge, training and ways of better dealing with digital spaces and information.

    The aim of the course is for participants to: 1) Acquire skills for mediatised environments, 2) Develop a critical spirit towards the online information context, 3) Distinguish the different problems that affect information, going beyond the common sense idea of what `fake news¿ can be. 4) Be trained in digital citizenship.
