Ana Paula Caetano

Resume

Ana Paula Caetano has a degree in Social Work, with a master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Family and Systemic Intervention. She is currently a PhD student in Social Work at Coimbra University and Católica University. She is a professor at Lusófona University (FCESE) and an active member of the Intrepid Lab (Porto, Portugal) and CLISSIS, contributing to research and academic development. Her academic contributions include 10 published scientific articles, 13 poster presentations, and 9 national and international conference communications. Her work has been recognized with three awards for poster presentations. Between 2008 and 2023, her professional experience focused on coordinating projects aimed at promoting health and social inclusion for individuals experiencing homelessness and those with addictive behaviors and dependencies. Her research interests center on Social Work practices and Social Policies for vulnerable populations, reflecting her extensive experience in harm reduction, social inclusion, and systemic intervention.
