Cláudia P. Pires. Invited Assistant Professor in Psychology at Instituto Superior Miguel Torga, Coimbra, Portugal. Also affiliated to the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, University of Coimbra, Portugal. PhD in Clinical Psychology (2024), MSc in Clinical Psychology - Cognitive-Behavioural Interventions (2015), and BSc in Psychological Sciences (2013) from the University of Coimbra. Advanced training in contextual therapies (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Based Interventions) in adults and adolescents. Member of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists and the Portuguese Association of Behaviour Therapy (APTC). Research interests focused on anxiety disorders, adolescent development and clinical functioning, neurobiological and evolutionary approach to human characteristics, behaviour and difficulties, and on contextual, experiential and compassion-based psychological interventions.
