Resume
I have a degree in Biochemistry from the Universidade de Évora. I concluded a Master's thesis entitled “Validation of Potential Proteomic Biomarkers in Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome” under the Master's program in Biologia Humana e Ambiente, Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa. My thesis work was carried out at the Laboratório de Proteómica, Departamento de Genética Humana, INSA, Lisboa. To continue this study, I obtained a PhD fellowship at FCT, and during my research I published the results in an article as first author, won a prize for best poster at an international congress and participated in various national and international courses and conferences. I am currently in the final stages of completing my PhD in Biologia - specialization in Biologia Molecular, Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa. I feel that along the way I have acquired professional skills, responsibility and scientific maturity.
