Objectives
Objectives
Students will gain an overview of the type of work they may be able to carry out in their professional career, whether in R&D, industry laboratories or diagnostics. In this sense, professors related to the degree, in their various fields of specialization, will develop with students a research project so that they have contact with procedures and/or methodologies that are part of lines of research in biotechnology, namely in chemistry, genetics, bacteriology, environmental engineering and food engineering. Additionally, experts in the field of biotechnology will be invited so that students can have knowledge of related areas

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
The syllabus will be taught by FE faculty and/or specialists in different areas of Biotechnology. At the beginning of the semester, a joint class will be given with all the professors, in which the themes that will be covered during the semester and who are responsible will be presented. During the semester, all students will attend theoretical/theoretical-practical classes that will be given in the form of modules corresponding to the different areas. Simultaneously, each student will develop the topic of interest with the teacher allocated to the respective area.
