    This curricular unit has a theoretical and practical nature and contributes to the adequate preparation of future graduates in Education Sciences - Social Education in the broad field of professional application in which they can exercise their activity, based on the requirements placed on the preparation of citizens in the digital field for the sec.XXI. Such purpose aims to mobilize knowledge and the acquisition of skills for future problem situations in the context of the intervention of technologies, that is, the ability to do research on educational and socio-educational issues using the use of technology, It is also intended that students acquire and develop skills to act in various socio-educational spaces.

    The learning objectives of the UC Technologies and Education of the Degree course in Educational Sciences - Social Education are as follows: to understand the theoretical and epistemological foundations of Educational Technology acquire concepts in the field of technologies applied to education. can apply knowledge in new situations. reflect on the potential of digital educational technologies in terms of curricular innovation. use computer programs in pedagogical applications. develop autonomy and the ability to work collaboratively from a continuing education perspective. developing research skills through ICT

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    This curricular unit consists of face-to-face classes of a theoretical-practical nature adopting active methods, i.e. innovative methodologies to support the teaching-learning process such as: discussion, challenges, projects, analyzing issues and, adopting the learning methodology of Problem-based learning and also Flipped Classroom. Classes will seek to encourage the involvement and active participation of students, both individually and in cooperative and collaborative group work. They will also include innovative methodologies to support the teaching-learning process. The teaching methods aim to develop the knowledge referred to in the content and to achieve the proposed objectives. Assessment includes products, processes and self-assessment
