This course aims to familiarize you with the fundamental topics used in flexible manufacturing systems, such as equipment, electronic components and architectures for control and supervision. It is intended to develop the ability to intervene in the design of industrial manufacturing systems. The laboratory component aims to emphasize the multidisciplinarity inherent to Industrial Automation.

Objectives
The objective with this syllabus is to provide students with the fundamental knowledge to be able to actively intervene in the design, monitoring and control of flexible manufacturing systems.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Two thirds of the classes will be dedicated to the presentation of the syllabus, including application examples. The remaining third will be laboratory classes, where a set of assessment works will be given that will contribute to the final grade. The Power Point presented in the classes will be made available to the students.
