Class Introduction to Labour Law

Let know the basics legal notions, identifying the notion of law, its foundation and function. Proceed with the classification of the branches of law, the identification of the legal norms and the recognition of the sources of law. Understand labor law as a science of essentially practical interest, whose aim is to regulate labour relations normatively. Highlight the importance of Labour Law in Human Resource Management.

The classes will be mostly theoretical-practical, that is, always contemplating the possibility for students to apply the previously acquired theoretical knowledge in practical terms either through classroom debate or by solving practical cases. This continuous assessment includes the performance of a written test, group work and participation in the classes.
