The objectives of the Organizational Behavior Structures and Processes course are to: Promote the understanding of the importance and evolution of explanatory models of conflict and negotiation behaviors; Understand and apply the organizational methods used by organizations to deal with conflicts; Define and deepen the main concepts of politics, power and negotiation; Identify and characterize the different types of organizational structure; Clarify the concept of organizational culture and distinguish it from organizational climate, as well as clarify how these are linked.

Objectives
At the end of this curricular unit, students are expected to be able: To recognize the different types of conflict and power in organizations and the most appropriate strategies to manage or mitigate them, including negotiation; Identify and describe the different types of organizational structure and culture, and their relationship with the organizational climate.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
In this CU, innovative practice involves diagnosing and characterizing an organization's strategy. Students are encouraged to identify an organization as well as characterize its structure, culture and climate. Students will also be encouraged to reflect and establish connections between the results of their diagnosis and aspects of the remaining subjects taught in COEP and COIG.
