The Criminal Procedural Law I course integrates the study of the various criminal procedural dimensions: the axiological (normative principles), teleological (ends of the process), constituent (sources of criminal procedural law) and structural (structuring, subjective and objective elements, of the criminal proceedings).

Objectives
Objectives
Provide students with the acquisition of theoretical and dogmatic knowledge about the Portuguese criminal process, in its various integrating dimensions and in its main institutes, namely on the subjects of the criminal process, the acts of the process, the measures of coercion and patrimonial guarantee and the central problem of the test; Provide students with adequate theoretical and practical preparation, through the combination of theoretical classes and practical classes, with a view to integration in professional careers and in the practical world of law.
