It is intended that the student at the end of the unit of Project I can be able to: Understand the basic principles of research methodology; To know the bibliographic databases online; Understand the various stages of the Scientific Research process, from the formulation of the question to the dissemination of results; Know the various formats of scientific publication; Understand the structure of a scientific article and identify the various types of articles published in scientific journals; To know the most important scientific journals in Nutrition Sciences and to understand the quality criteria; Acquire skills to present results in scientific meetings, in the form of an abstract, poster and oral communication; To know the norms of bibliographical references; Acquire capabilities for the use of organizational software and management of bibliographic references in research. To be able to produce original scientific work in nutrition sciences field

Objectives
Objectives
To create skills for insertion with autonomy in an appropriate environment to develop and improve the practical skills required to carry out a project of scientific and technical research in the field of Nutritional Sciences. Contribute to the development of analytical and methodical criticism in the literature. To provide the privileged opportunity to carry out active learning through the evaluation of articles published in scientific journals, using examples of research in nutrition, as well as examples of research that report their main practical consequences in this area of knowledge. Enable students for creativity in formulating questions, objectivity in the exercise of systematic doubt and in research for the best evidence, critical evaluation with relative acceptance of lack of certainty in science and maturation of communication skills and dissemination of results of the technical-scientific research.
