Class Author Photography: Individual Project II

  • Presentation

    Presentation

This UC aims to consolidate the student's path throughout the course, guaranteeing the necessary autonomy to develop projects, in an authorial and individual way. Continuing with other UC's, where the image is thought of as a structuring sign of thought and knowledge, in this UC we will continue to work on the students' framework in the field of visual arts, as well as in the field of technological processes. During the course of the unit, students will experiment, propose, develop and present an individual project. Through tutorials, as well as complementary exercises and technical support classes, students will have the opportunity to consolidate their visual languages, and this process should culminate with the presentation of the final project to the public, in an exhibition context.

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

In parallel with expository methodologies, the program uses methodologies that promote experimentation and critical thinking, enabling students for dynamic learning. This UC, with its main objective being the creation, development and presentation of an individual authorial project, gives special focus to the complexity of the challenges encountered during the creative process, therefore introducing exercises to develop creativity and enhance it. Classes based on individual tutorials accompanied by moments of collective discussion. Encouragement of image exhibition and installation practices.
