Class Constructive Systems I

Know the basic constructive elements of architecture, associating their use with the formal composition, proportions and scales. Know how to represent (adequately and graphically) the use of different construction elements through simple survey and recognition exercises.

Teaching will be based partly on the expository method supported by case presentations, and partly on student research. In the exercises, the architectural representation will include simple surveys of construction elements, to induce the perception of Architecture, either through manual representation or through assisted drawing or through notions of scale and quality, shape and dimension of the materials used.
