  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

The evaluation methodology follows the rules defined on the “Regulamento Específico de Avaliação de Conhecimentos” (REAC) of the FMV-ULusofóna. Lectures with interactive discussion of the content. Classes with collaborative work activities aimed at stimulating students' critical thinking. Tutorial sessions for guidance in autonomous work. - Continuous evaluation:       TC classes (55% of the final grade): work on theme, research concepts and objectives (10%) + bibliographic research work (20%) + critical article review (25%) + poster presentation (45%)       TP classes (45% of the final grade): 6 quizzes conducted at the end of the class - Final exam in case of failure in continuous evaluation Seminars: invited researchers who develop research in the area of Medicine and Veterinary Sciences will present lectures on their scientific activity, allowing students to form knowledge about the different areas of research in Veterinary Science.
