    Teaching methodologies and assessment

Priority is given to the use of active methodologies (jigsaw, inverted classroom, learning by doing,problem-based learning, etc) combined with traditional teaching. Formative assessment is carried out during the classes, through apps such as "mentimeter", "whiteboard", "socrative" which allows to continuously diagnose the needs of students, for better guidance. Discussion of exercises is promoted. For inverted classroom, videos are available on the educast platform (Veterinary Anatomy, https://educast.fccn.pt/vod/channels/1c2yq1rahy?locale=pt) for consultation inside and outside of the classroom. Use of various types of alternative resources to the traditional teaching of anatomy, namely models, plastic sheets, software, virtual atlas and a virtual dissection table (Anatomage).
