This UC focuses on the practical aspects of strategic management of human resources, favoring talent management as a reference methodology for valuing people in organizations and realizing their full potential. Throughout the semester, the UC intends to achieve its pedagogical objectives through the articulation between the participation of reference guests from the organizational world, and the realization of a project with a real organization. In this way, students have the opportunity to engage directly with the community, contributing to the transfer of knowledge between universities and organizations.

CP1. The evolution of work and talent management. CP2. Attracting talent: Planning and design of talent attraction programs; Theoretical and practical perspectives of talent selection; CP3. Talent retention policies and practices: Socialization and management through culture; Design and implementation of performance management: phases and different methods, evaluation of efficiency and effectiveness, relationship with potential management, vectors of evolution; Career management: current challenges and relationship with other HR Systems; Reward management: components, coherence, individual and organizational impact; CP4. The interconnection between human resource management practices and the dynamics of organizational communication, motivation, satisfaction and quality of life at work.

Objectives
LO1. Analyze and evaluate the critical aspects of an effective talent management practice. LO2. Learn to design and develop integrated talent management strategies. LO3. Identify specificities and professionally manage practices of talent recruitment, selection and socialization, performance management and development of potential, careers and rewards. LO4. Evaluate talent attraction and retention programs as a support long-term organizational performance.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Service based learning project, with the creation of bridges with organizations and small groups with real needs. Individual and collective work will be carried out around of these projects and in direct collaboration with the selected organizations.
