This UC seeks to address the different stages of the psychological assessment process in a clinical context, namely, collecting information through different methods, case conceptualization, intervention planning, returning results and carrying out psychological reports. All these components will be evaluated according to the development phase, with the 1st part of the semester dedicated to the assessment of children and adolescents, and the 2nd to the assessment of adults.

1. Psychological assessment in clinical practice 2. Types and specificities of assessment and adequacy for childhood/adolescence and adulthood. 3. Objectives
Objectives
The main objective of this curricular unit is to prepare students to carry out psychological assessment, integrated in the cognitive-behavioral approach. Specifically, it is intended that students learn to: LO1: Knowing the fundamentals and relevance of psychological assessment in a clinical context LO2: Identify, compare and reflect on the specificities, common and differentiating aspects of assessment with minors and with adults OA3. Knowing fundamental aspects of interview communication and the main contents to be collected, applying them to each case and to different informants (eg parents, teachers) OA4. Select, apply, rate and interpret clinical assessment instruments OA5. Select, organize and articulate the collected information, integrating it into a case conceptualization OA6. Plan the intervention according to the case conceptualization OA7. Knowing how to prepare psychological assessment reports AO8. Return psychological assessment results

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
In theoretical classes, the expository and interrogative method will be used. In practical classes, demonstrative and participatory methodologies will be used, such as: case analysis, quotation/interpretation of results of evaluation instruments, role-play, interview skills training, training in returning results in small groups, application of models from conceptualization to specific cases, among others. Continuous assessment will be carried out through: a) 2 written mini-tests on the syllabus taught in theoretical classes (test 1: children/adolescents; test 2: adults), with a quotation of 25% each. b) Group work with two components: 1. Presentation and role-play of returning results carried out in class (25%), and written document submitted in Moodle 5 days after the presentation (25%).
