    The Curriculum Unit in Ethics and e-Health has as a primary aim to deepen the understanding of students on the ethical issues involved in the teleconsultation and e-health. Through this unity, students will develop critical skills essential to navigate and analyze complex ethical issues covering from the philosophical and sociological basis to the European legal framework.

    LO1. Understand the philosophical, sociological and historical basis of ethics in teleconsultation  LO2. Develop critical thinking on ethical issues related to e-health and teleconsultation. LO3. Acquire knowledge about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). LO4. To acquire knowledge on the legal and ethical framework of teleconsultation in Europe
  • Teaching methodologies and assessment

    Teaching methodologies and assessment

    The contents in Ethics will be articulated to the CYBER Master pedagogical model. Students will have to learn about the legal and ethical framework in eHealth in Europe, and also, more broadly, about the ethical dimensions in health research involving human and sometimes particularly vulnerable participants. The teaching of these contents uses the expositive method. The debate and discussion oriented by the teacher on specific cases will also be implemented in this curricular unit.
