Class Research Methodologies

Introduction to the main research methodologies. Fundamental for students to acquire knowledge and skills with a view to preparing the dissertation and/or the practical project.

1ª Part: dissertation: Overview of the CU and faculty’s guidelines Analysis of existing research methods Literature review and search for sources Formulation of research problem and hypotheses Sample of relevant historical examples for the area of study Summary presentation by the students Classes overview and refining of the presentations 2ª Part: individual tutorial for the practical and conceptual final project 

Splitting the programme into two parts with two different teachers offers greater methodological richness regarding the objectives to be achieved. The screening of examples on the classes subject themes helps with the critical debate that we want to establish between teacher and student at this level of teaching and learning.
