Objectives
Objectives
This course aims to provide students with critical tools that enable them to develop rigorous methodological thinking appropriate to the work to be carried out, whether in the development of fieldwork or in individual creative processes in cinema and audiovisual media (writing and directing): 1. Critical and operational overview of the fields of applied scientific work in the context of film studies. 2. Ability to design a working method in the context of research in film studies. 3. Perspective on film practice as research.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Teaching methodologies and assessment
Theoretical exposition and applied theory, with case studies. Assessment will be based on attendance, participation in sessions, and discussion of the topic or subject, bibliography, and working documents (50%). Students will have to present and justify in writing (minimum of 5000 characters) a research proposal (for a dissertation, critical report, or object construction) (50%). All teachers will evaluate this proposal.
