PC1: Phases of quantitative methodology. 1.1 Identification and elaboration of research questions and hypotheses. 1.2 Identification, classification, and operationalization of variables. Objectives
LO1: Review and consolidate theoretical knowledge about the steps, procedures, and assumptions of quantitative methodology; LO2: Carry out a critical and in-depth analysis of quantitative studies LO3: Know and apply methodological procedures and quantitative analysis methods; LO4: Perform quantitative data analyses using statistical software; LO5: Report research data analyzed with statistical software; LO6. Understand the relevance of evidence-based practice in Forensic Psychology.

Teaching methodologies and assessment
Several teaching methodologies (TM), such as exposition moments (TM1), feedback by the teacher (TM2) and peer-to-peer discussion (TM3) will be used. However, and because this is a practical CU, the methodologies to be favored are the demonstrative (TM4) and the active (TM5), involving the development of a group work in the tutorial regime.
